From cooking to food policy to environmental issues, there are so many ways to approach writing about food today. Discover new approaches and markets for food writing with this afternoon intensive workshop. Bring work-in-progress or start something new! Admission to the workshop includes a reserved seat at Chef/Author/Advocate Dan Barber’s reading and talk, at noon.
Instructor Aria Beth Sloss is a graduate of Yale University and Iowa Writers’ Workshop with fellowships from Iowa Arts Foundation and Yaddo Corporation. Her writing has appeared in the Harvard Review, Martha Stewart Living, and online at The Paris Review.
Author of her heart-wrenching debut novel, Autobiography of Us, Aria Beth Sloss is a Yale graduate and resident of New York who’s writing has appeared on several publications; The Glimmer Train, the Harvard Review, Martha Stewart Living, the Paris Review and FiveChapters as well.
